Meet Fitch
Hey there — I'm John Fitch (but you can call me FITCH). I'm the founder of FitchCraft, husband to Tammy, and a proud Yuba-Sutter resident. I'm a Dad to 3, Papa to 3, and your local business-tech ally. 🤝
I've officially lived here for the last 25 years, but my connection to this area runs much deeper. I grew up in the country out by Camp Far West Lake, virtually spending my entire childhood in the Yuba-Sutter area. I always felt a strong pull to this community. 🌲
I have vivid memories of catching movies at the Peachtree Mall Theatre, digging through bins at Ernie's Toyland, stuffing myself at King's Smorgy, and wandering the aisles of Montgomery Wards. Late nights at the Cruise. Double features at the Drive-In. So many great moments that helped shape my childhood. 🍿🍔
Then, about 25 years ago, I met my wife Tammy—a lifelong local, born and raised right here. With her deep roots and my growing love for this place, that feeling of home became reality. We put down roots, and today I am a proud Dad to 3 great young adults, and Papa to 3 amazing grandkids. Where my heart lived, I followed. ❤️
As life and family grew here, I got to share those same landmarks with my own kids. We made new memories in the same places where I made so many of my own — a full-circle feeling I'll always be grateful for.
Bridging Experience with Community
Professionally, I've spent 30+ years in the data and analytics field, primarily managing high-volume transportation and distribution facilities. Over the years, I've developed custom internal applications for industry giants like:
- •Hewlett Packard
- •Contract Transportation Services
- •McKesson
- •Longs Drugs / CVS Pharmacy
- •Estenson Logistics
- •HubGroup
Now, through FitchCraft, I'm bringing that enterprise-level experience back to the local level. This resource hub is my way of giving back to the community that shaped me — by helping local businesses skip the stress, dodge the digital noise, and thrive in the place we all call home. 🛠️📊
I've got you. 🤘🤠🤘
